There are a few weeks every year when Nashville feels bigger than usual, and CMA Fest is at the top of that list.

From June 4—7, 2026, downtown Nashville will once again fill with country music fans for four straight days of live music. Now that the official CMA Fest lineup has been released, summer in Music City suddenly feels a lot closer.

The nightly stadium shows at Nissan Stadium are always the main event, and this year's lineup brings together major country headliners alongside artists who are having big moments right now.

Nashville During CMA Fest

If you've never been in Nashville during CMA Fest, the scale of it can be surprising.

For four days, downtown becomes one continuous live music experience. Broadway fills early and stays busy late into the night, the pedestrian bridge stays packed with fans heading toward Nissan Stadium, and Riverfront Park and nearby stages run concerts almost nonstop during the day.

Even without stadium tickets, there's live music everywhere. Many visitors spend the daytime hours walking between stages before heading to the stadium shows in the evening. It's one of the few times each year when Nashville truly feels like the center of country music.

Planning Ahead Makes a Big Difference

CMA Fest has become one of the busiest weekends of the summer in Nashville, and people plan trips around it months in advance.

If you're thinking about coming into town, it's worth booking your stay and making key reservations sooner rather than later. Downtown hotels and short-term rentals tend to fill up first, and prices usually climb as June gets closer. The same goes for dinner reservations and stadium tickets, especially for Friday and Saturday nights.

June always arrives faster than expected, and CMA Fest weekend is one of those times when waiting usually means fewer options and higher prices.

The Countdown to June

Now that the lineup is official, the countdown to CMA Fest has started.

For four days in early June, Nashville becomes the center of the country music world, bringing together major artists, rising stars, and fans from across the country.

If CMA Fest is on your summer calendar, now is the time to start planning, June will be here before we know it.
