BEST PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN NASHVILLE: RUTHERFORD COUNTY

CHRISTIANA

Christiana is a quaint, rural community located south of Murfreesboro with several locally-owned restaurants and the Big Creek Winery Tasting Room. There are two public schools in Christiana — Christiana Middle School and Christiana Elementary.

EAGLEVILLE

Families looking for some peace, quiet, and country living may find it in the small town of Eagleville, nestled in the rolling hills southwest of Murfreesboro. There are several farms in the area that offer agritourism and year-round festivities for families, including Lucky Ladd Farms and the Hatcher Family Dairy. The community's only public school, the Eagleville School, serves students from pre-school through high school.

Lascassas is a small, unincorporated community just 9 miles from the larger city of Murfreesboro. Although families with older kids would have to commute to one of the upper schools in Murfreesboro, Lascassas Elementary provides a convenient option for those with younger children in the area.

LA VERGNE

One of the larger cities in Rutherford County, La Vergne has seen expansive growth over the last few years thanks to its proximity to Nashville, affordability, and accessibility via several major interstates, as well as its growing industrial activity. Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Ingram Content Group are among several large corporations that call La Vergne home.
